Build your marketing portfolio.
This website will become your professional collection of marketing work. By December, you should be able to show a future employer, local business, freelance client, or organization what you can actually create.
Build proof of your skills.
Your portfolio will collect branding, social media, advertising, digital design, physical marketing materials, campaigns, and other finished work from this course.
One home for your work.
You will create a simple website with a landing page, About Me section, portfolio collection, and professional contact information.
AI helps. You decide.
AI can brainstorm and generate code, but you are responsible for the audience, message, strategy, design decisions, revisions, and final quality.

ELI5: What is index.html?
Imagine your website is a store. Your Neocities account is the building. The files inside it are the rooms, signs, and displays. index.html is the front door.
When somebody visits yourname.neocities.org, the browser asks, “What page should I show first?” It looks for index.html. That is why your homepage is normally named index.html.
